Kids’ Ligra 8

Where this shoe fits on court

A youth-sized Ligra for breathable comfort, non-marking traction and everyday team use. That does not make it the automatic best choice for every player. Position, body weight, foot shape and preferred court feel determine whether its balance is appropriate.

Three reasons to shortlist it

1. Youth sizing. This characteristic supports the shoe’s intended role when the size and shape hold the foot securely.
2. Durable toe area. This characteristic supports the shoe’s intended role when the size and shape hold the foot securely.
3. Indoor court versatility. This characteristic supports the shoe’s intended role when the size and shape hold the foot securely.

The tradeoff to understand

A basic cushioning package rather than a premium jump setup. Compare it with another model in the same brand before deciding, especially if you are moving from a very different cut or cushioning level.

Fit and try-on checklist

Wear your normal volleyball socks and any brace or insole used during play. The heel should stay seated, the midfoot should feel secure without numbness, and the toes need enough room for braking and landing. Test controlled side shuffles, split steps and heel raises indoors on a clean surface.

• No heel lift during a lateral plant
• No sharp pressure along the forefoot or arch
• Enough toe room for hard stops
• A stable platform when body weight moves sideways
• Cushioning that matches the player’s jump workload
